Clearer privacy for downloads and account deletion

Improvement
  • The privacy policy now explains that PDF, import, and account-deletion jobs are queued and prepared in Frankfurt, in the EU.
  • When you delete your account, that request now carries only your account ID. Your email address is no longer included.

One-page setup and a clearer PDF import

New
  • Creating a resume or cover letter is now a single page instead of several steps, so you can add details and start editing right away.
  • You can add as many jobs and education entries as you need during setup, skip anything you do not have yet, and leave the name blank if you want us to choose one.
  • If you refresh or leave the page, your unfinished setup is saved on this device until you create the document.
Improvement
  • Importing a resume or cover letter from PDF now shows what is happening in plain language, with a progress bar and three simple stages: file received, information extracted, and editable draft created.
  • The import screen now names the file you uploaded and explains that we place what we find into the matching editor sections so you can review it before downloading.

Applications on your dashboard and a one-page onboarding

  • Your dashboard now has a My applications card next to your resumes and cover letters, with counts for Applied, Screening, Interview, and Offer.
  • Click a status to open My applications already filtered to that stage.
Improvement
  • After you sign up, onboarding is now a single page instead of three separate steps, so you can get into your account faster.
  • Every question is optional — finish setup in one go, or skip and start building right away.
  • Industry now has a search box, so you can find yours without scrolling the full list.
  • Clicking the sun or moon in the sidebar to switch between light and dark — no extra menu.

Show skills, languages, and links in multiple columns

  • You can now arrange your Skills, Languages, and Links in up to three columns per row, so you can fit more on the page and save space.
  • Use the new "Columns" option next to each section's display type to choose 1, 2, or 3 items per row.
  • Available on the Minimal, Statement, Spotlight, Card, and Neutral templates.

Section names stay as you typed them

Improvement
  • When renaming a resume section, you can now cancel and keep the original name.
  • The progress screen for importing a resume or cover letter from PDF is clearer in both light and dark mode.
Bug fix
  • Creative Bold and Classic Professional now show section titles in the casing you typed, instead of forcing them to all capitals.
  • Your profile photo no longer flashes the wrong picture while the resume preview is loading.

Bug fix
  • The live resume preview now uses the same page breaks as your downloaded PDF, so what you see while editing matches the file you download.
